2012 Thanksgiving Conference - Renewed By The Spirit

GCI Canada's 2012 Thanksgiving Conference in beautiful Penticton, B.C. will take place from October 6-13. This year our theme is "Renewed by Spirit", and our messages and seminars will focus on the Holy Spirit. Beginning on our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, we will gather together for inspiring worship and teaching, uplifting fellowship and fun activities for all ages. Our special guest speaker this year is Glen Weber, who has been in full-time pastoral ministry for more than 39 years, starting in the UK, then Kelowna, Castlegar, Prince George, Regina, and Red Deer before moving back to the US. Glen is now taking care of the Southwest District in addition to his role as Senior Pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship, our GCI congregation in Pasadena. We're thrilled to have Glen and his wife Connie at the conference. Other speakers include Gary & Wendy Moore, Roy Page, Dorothy Nordstrom, Keith Roberts and Craig Minke.

Activities include a tour and catered lunch at the beautiful Linden Gardens in Kaleden, winery tours, a vinegar farm tour, and the usual favourites - the Thanksgiving Banquet, Thanksgiving Open House, dinner on the SS Sicamous, bike rentals, seniors' luncheon, bowling, movie night, games night and a worship evening.
